FIA Historic Rally Trophy Champion 1994
Driver: Åke “Bryggarn” Andersson, codriver: Lars Thorell

This car was made early 1965 and have chassi no 300512. It was bought 1991 by famous rally driver Åke “Bryggarn”Anderson for restoration to a rally car suitable for the FIA Historic Trophy. The restoration was made by Perry Andersson, Perrys Motor, a well known Porsche expert in Sweden. Perry was also Andersson´s mechanic back in the late sixties / early seventies when Andersson was a Porsche works driver.

The engine was built from new parts like race cams, 906 pistons, forged rockers on a new 1965 aluminium block.

Registered in Sweden as a rally car.

New FIA HTP is in progress.

The car is like it was when it was put into a museum in 2009, after several seasons of rallying.

Åke “Bryggarn” Andersson

...is a famous swedish rally/rallycross driver who in the early seventies was a Porsche works driver in Sweden alongside world famous teammate Björn Waldegård.

Andersson drove his first rally in 1959 and then made his international debut in Monte Carlo in 1961. During the sixties he had great sucess with the swedish manufacturer Saab with wins in The Swedish Rally 1966. And the Gulf Rally in 1968.

He then moved on to Porsche in 1967 and became a full works driver in 1969. Andersson drove for Porsche until 1972 when he stopped rallying and instead got his eyes on Rallycross. He did rallycross for around 10 years, mainly in Porsche 911.

In 1991 he took up his old love rally in Historic Rallying with his own Porsche 911 1965 (this car). He became FIA Champion in 1994 together with codriver Lars Thorell.
